3TMC Tactical Medicine

3tmc

Course Description:
ADAPTAGEAR™ in partnership with KMI is proud to offer 3TMC Tactical Medicine. During the first half of the course, students are introduced to the essentials of Operational Medicine along with an overview of Anatomy and Physiology. With a focus on traumatic accidents, active shooters, bombings, and/or other terrorist-type scenarios, 3TMC students will learn to use 3TMC medical kits to successfully treat the three leading causes of preventable combat death: extremity hemorrhage, tension pneumothorax and airway obstruction.

In the second half, we go a step further and introduce students to Mass Casualty Incidents (MCI’s) from the First Responder’s point of view. Using the 3TMC method, students learn a streamlined and effective approach to dealing with various types of MCI’s. Utilizing scenario-based training with simulated wounds, role players, force-on-force, and other environmental controls; students are provided with a multi-dimensional learning experience.

Testimonial:

Thank you for presenting an excellent class.

The 3TMC course is appropriate training that should be taken by all new recruit police officers and deputy sheriffs up to the veteran SWAT officers, as it extends their law enforcement first responder/public safety first aid training to the next level to handle violent critical incidents.

3TMC truly increases officer safety and survivability. I enjoyed training with you guys and networking/exchanging information with [OTHER DEPARTMENT] Sheriff's SERT.

I have recommended the 3TMC class to other SFSD In-Service First Aid/CPR/AED Instructors
