Tactica and Krav Maga Institute founder Danny Zelig has over 30 years of experience practicing and teaching Krav Maga, receiving his first Krav Maga instructor certification while in the military in Israel in 1987. Danny has been teaching Krav Maga in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2000 and is the primary teacher for almost every Krav Maga instructor in the East Bay. High quality self defense training can save your life, and Tactica Krav Maga Institute is committed to offering the best possible training with a focus on realistic, intense, and safe training. All of our Krav Maga instructors have obtained rigorous instructor certifications and continually develop their skills.

Programs

Tactica offers a variety of self-defense and tactical training programs tailored to different needs. Krav Maga is a practical and intuitive system suitable for all ages and sizes, focusing on natural instincts for quick skill development. Specialized private classes include Krav Maga Women, addressing common attacks against women, and Krav Maga Stick Fighting, focusing on defenses against blunt objects.

For fitness and combat training, Combat Cardio combines striking with heavy bag drills for a rigorous workout, requiring no prior martial arts experience. Advanced training includes Krav Maga Full Combat Fundamentals (P1+) and Full Combat – Advanced (P3+), offering comprehensive fighting techniques.

Tactica also provides Instructor Training for military and law enforcement personnel, as well as Corporate Training for private security and event security needs.
