Krav Maga

Krav Maga (pronounced “krahv mahGAH”) is an effective, modern, and dynamic self-defense and fighting system. It is designed to be practical and intuitive for people of any age, shape, or size. The techniques expand on your natural instincts to develop skills quickly and effectively, while enabling you to address attacks under any scenario. You will learn how to defend yourself and your loved ones, while gaining increased awareness and instinctive reflexes. Learn more about Krav Maga. Required equipment: Mouth and groin guard are recommended for P1 classes. Mouth, groin, head, and shin protection are required for P2+.

Krav Maga Full Combat Fundamentals (P1 Rank+)

A mix of ring and street fighting techniques with a choice of sparring at the end of each class. Participants must have completed their P1 certification (currently taking P2 classes), and must wear protective gear (shin guards, groin guard, mouth guard, and optional head guard).

Krav Maga Full Combat – Advanced (P3+)

Full Combat is a full contact system based on the philosophy of Krav Maga. The practitioner will learn and train in applied fighting techniques in all situations, positions, angles; with and without weapons; versus one or multiple opponents; day/night (light/dark) scenarios; and indoor and outdoor. Requirements: P3 rank or above, full safety gear.

Krav Maga for Military

The mentality of Military Krav Maga is very different from the civilian form. We train mental and physical preparation for soldiers. This program includes specialized combatives, problem solving under stress, and working under different conditions and environments. This course is only taught by certified Israeli Military Krav Maga Instructors.

Krav Maga for Law Enforcement

Krav Maga has specialized techniques for issues unique to law enforcement, with targeted focus on each area of expertise. In this program, we develop enhanced enforcement ability, rapid tactical awareness and response through effective advanced training.

Private Security – Third Party Protection

This is a series of classes for bodyguards and personal protection services. This will enhance your enforcement abilities with armed and unarmed training, covering third party protection issues.

Event Security

Ideal for current bouncers and those wishing to enter the field of event security, we focus on event security issues, de-escalation tactics, awareness, prevention, crowd control, and more.

Boxing

One hour of technical training in Western boxing, starting with basic work and moving into advanced drills of striking combinations, footwork, and sparring (by choice). No experience is necessary. Required equipment: Boxing gloves, mouth guard, head guard.

Combat Cardio

Created by Danny Zelig, Combat Cardio takes a functional approach to cardio training by combining strikes and basic training drills. Students strike heavy bags using combative strikes and realistic combinations to get a solid workout as well as reinforce combative techniques taught in the regular Krav Maga classes. No martial arts experience is required and basic techniques will be taught in class. Be prepared to sweat.

Gloves or wraps are recommended for the Combat Cardio class, but are not necessary.

SPEC

A new program developed with Griffin Fitness, SPEC is Specialized Programs for Exercise and Combat. Designed specifically with fighters in mind. This course is appropriate for those who have already been training and are looking to get that extra edge in their overall fitness. Stepping beyond the standard cardio classes, this class focuses on bursting strength towards supporting superior conditioning and endurance for fights. SPEC classes incorporate bodyweight training as well as props such as TRX, kettlebell, weighted sleds, tires, and more.

SPEC Boot Camp

Tactica’s SPEC Boot Camp is a 6-week training program that features our strength and conditioning class. SPEC (Specialized Program for Exercise and Combat) is a regularly offered class at Tactica specially designed for fighters. The goals of the SPEC program are to improve strength, speed, power, and cardiovascular conditioning. We created this program for fighters and Krav Maga practitioners, but it also provides a solid foundation for anyone looking to improve their general fitness.

ITPS

ITPS (Israeli Tactical Point Shooting) is a programmed method of weapons deployment that has been very successful in Israel for the last few decades. It is designed for close-quarter action and teaches the shooter to draw, cock, and shoot a violent offender in one second or less under extreme stress. Trainees will learn fundamentals of urban fighting, various concealed carry conditions, good peripheral vision, employment of lethal option tactics against multiple threats, shooting with one and two hands and progressing to advanced close combat fighting techniques.

BJJ & Grappling

Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes are one hour of training on techniques and maneuvers applied to an opponent in order to get physical advantage to submit or to escape dangerous positions. Submission wrestling focuses on clinch and ground fighting with the aim of defeating your opponent using submission holds. Grappling is practiced as a sport and as a form of self-defense, but does not include striking or the use of weapons. Both beginning and advanced levels are offered. Advanced classes require the permission of the instructor. Complement your Krav Maga training with specialized training in ground work via submission wrestling.
